Donni Steele has over 20 years of small business experience in the private sector.

She also has been an elected public servant since 2012. Donni and her husband are amazing parents to two wonderful sons. Formerly an Orion Township Trustee and Orion Township Treasurer, Donni implemented and supported fiscally conservative practices that saved taxpayers money, time, and ease of transactions.

As a sitting State Representative, Donni continues to make decisions based on what her constituents want. As a small business owner, Donni knows how laws directly affect small business owners, their employees, and the community.

Priorities

Michigan grapples with multiple challenges: pandemic strain on small businesses, population decline, inflation, energy crises, and education transparency issues. I propose revitalizing the economy by supporting small business growth through reduced regulation and fostering competitive environments.

Job creation is a priority, along with addressing inflation and reevaluating energy policies to promote American economic interests. I strongly oppose defunding law enforcement, emphasizing its crucial role in public safety. Education transparency is vital, with funds directed towards classroom learning and student support. I advocate robust support for veterans and seniors, opposing pension taxation and ensuring comprehensive care and benefits.

My goal is to rejuvenate Michigan's economy, retain its population, and enhance citizens' well-being.
